Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 2026

Welcome to Tianyō. By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Services

Tianyō provides travel planning, tour organisation, and related services for inbound travel to China. Our services include curated group tours, small group tours, and private custom itineraries. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

2. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit and a written confirmation from Tianyō. Full payment is typically due 60 days prior to the departure date. Specific payment terms will be outlined in your individual booking confirmation.

3. Pricing

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed. Our tour prices typically include accommodation, transport within China, guided experiences, and meals as specified in the itinerary. International airfare is not included unless explicitly stated.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation charges may apply as follows:

  • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus administrative fee
  • 30–60 days before departure: 50% of tour cost
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage. Tianyō reserves the right to cancel or modify tours due to insufficient enrolment, force majeure, or safety concerns, in which case a full refund or alternative arrangement will be offered.

5. Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to ensure that you hold valid travel documents, including a passport with at least six months' validity and any required visas. Tianyō can provide guidance and support letters but is not responsible for denied entry due to improper documentation.

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Tianyō tours. Your insurance should cover medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability. Proof of insurance may be required before departure.

7. Health & Fitness

Some tours may involve physical activity such as walking, hiking, or altitude exposure. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in adequate health and fitness for your chosen itinerary. Please inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.

8. Liability

Tianyō acts as an organiser and coordinator of travel services. While we take every care in selecting reputable suppliers and ensuring quality, we are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or delay caused by third-party service providers, natural events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Intellectual Property
